EVENING COACHING CLASS STUDY CENTER

Sr. Kulandai Theresa, Salesian Sister along with few volunteers (youth) visited the

villages of Acchampatti, Appanampatti, Ulagampatti, Vadakkiyur, Kondasamutharapatti and

K.Pudur. They went to the house and visited the parents and told them to come to Auxilium

Convent Ulgampatti. They had meeting with the parents of evening coaching class children

telling them from July onwards they would be starting evening coaching class in the villages of

Acchampatti, Appanampatti, Ulagampatti, Vadakkiyur, Kondasamutharapatti and K.Pudur from

The following week Sr. Kulandai Theresa called the teachers of various villages and had

meeting with them. She gave formative talk on education and asked the teachers to be kind and

understanding towards the children and improve their knowledge of education.

Every month first Sunday at 2.00 pm teachers meeting will be conducted. Formative talk

will be given followed by the evaluation of that month, how the students have improved in all the

We celebrated Don Bosco 200 birth bi-centenary in our study centers. We conducted

various competitions to the evening coaching class children such as Singing, Drawing, Writing

Essay, Reciting Thirukural and quiz on Don Bosco. And distributed the Prizes to the winners.

We had the joy of inviting our visiting councilor Sr. Lucy Rose to our evening coaching

class at Ulgampatti. We welcomed her in grand manner and children gave variety of cultural

programs. Sr. Lucy Rose in her talk to our children told that each one should have a thirst for

God, respect for their parents and teachers and study their daily lesions and be a good child to the

society wherever one lives. She distributed to the children school materials and sweets.

The following day our study centers Acchampatti, Appanampatti, Vadakkiyur, K.pudur

and Kondasamuthirapatti evening coaching class children were invited to Auxilium Convent

Ulgampatti at 5.00 pm one of our study center teacher Mrs. Devagi welcomed Rev. Sr. Lucy

Parents of our children were invited to participate in the function.

Children entertained by giving variety of cultural program.

Sr. Lucy Rose in her talk appreciated the parents for sending their children to our study

centers. And she recommended the teachers to be kind and lovable in teaching to the children.

She asked the children to be good and obey their parents and teachers. Also asked them to be

good children and to be useful to their parents, teachers and their companions.

She distributed to the children school materials and sweets.

Children were happy and went home praising God.
