Human Rights Education for the Children
Auxilium ARUWYE organized one day seminar on Human rights education for the children of Our Lady’s Matriculation School, Broadway on 8th of August 2014. About 100 children benefited from the seminar. Mr. Maria Vasantha Kumar the Programme Coordinator was the resource person. Human rights education was given to the students with the aim of bringing about changes in the attitudes and behaviors of children. Through these human rights values and principles, children became aware of their rights as children and pledged to respect the dignity and rights of others.
