Analytical Workshop for Teachers

Analytical Workshop for Teachers:

Analytical workshops were conducted for 205 teachers in 7 schools and 1 NGO. Understanding the psychology of children, media influence, victimization of the children by government and politics and the role of educator in providing better support and guidance for children were the focus of the workshop. The aim of the workshop was to enable the teachers to form the vigilance group that ensures child rights and enable children to enjoy a happy and secure childhood. The trainers for CĒ animated the sessions. The participants pledged to become promoters of child rights and promised to enable the children to become protagonists to fight for their rights.

Awareness Program to Parents on Trafficking:

In this era of insecurity and greed for money the need to protect children has become an inevitable requirement and duty. Awareness program on the role and methods of protecting children from traffickers was conducted for the VIDES members of Chennai zone and the parents of Our Lady’s Primary School, Tiruvottiyur from 4^th – 11^th August 2015. The team from ARUWYE animated the sessions by screening videos and explaining what is human trafficking and its methods. The parents also were given tips to protect the children from such evils. Thus the vigilance group to protect the children was formed.
