Feast of Assumption Collaboration with Retreat Don Bosco Yercaud:

The celebration of the Feast of Assumption saw a collaborative effort with Retreat Don Bosco Yercaud.

Children from the Evening Tuition Centre presented a dance program themed around "Thiruvalluvar," bringing an innovative touch to the festivities.Various religious institutions participated, showcasing a diverse range of programs.

Theology students contributed by performing a play titled "Vazhi Thadum Vizhigal."

Independence Day Celebration:

Independence Day was celebrated with zeal and creativity on August 15, 2023.Three children delivered talks on freedom fighters and the situation in Manipur.

Sr. Philo Chinnappan, the Animator of the Community, congratulated and awarded prizes to the children.Children actively participated in decorating the place and delivering speeches, showcasing their enthusiasm and creativity.

Medical Camp Organized by Mornese Yercaud Community:

On August 15, 2023, the Mornese Yercaud Community, in collaboration with Dr. Helen from Chennai Agarwals Eye Hospital, organized a free eye check-up camp.

The camp aimed to benefit tribal people in Yercaud and provided medical assistance to children, parents, young individuals, and others in need.The initiative received gratitude from the beneficiaries for providing essential medical services free of cost.

Plans are underway to extend similar medical camps to all villages of Yercaud, ensuring broader access to healthcare in the region.These events reflect a vibrant community engagement, cultural celebration, and a commitment to addressing healthcare needs in the Yercaud area.
