Activity Based Psychological Intervention
Activity Based Psychological Intervention (Parinamam):
Auxilium ARUWYE organized students’s orientation programme in our lady’s Matriculation Higher Secondary School (650), Auxilium College, Regunathapuram (600), St. Francis Xavier Anglo-Indian School, Broadway (550) respectively. 1800 students participated in the programme. Auxilium ARUWYE with the support of CĒ and volunteers from various colleges. The sessions conducted were activity based psychological interventions. The animation started with fun-physical activities to help the children get rid of the inbuilt stress due to various factors. Recreational activities, drawing and craft-making therapy were used to bring out the expression of inner-self. The day concluded with the throwing of soaked sponge as a stress reliever. Thus the children were given an opportunity to think about their interest and give expression to their feelings which would in turn will help them to set goals for the current academic year and orient towards achieving them. This has been an apt opportunity for children to exercise their right to grow and develop and also help others to grow towards their goals.
