Participative Training on child leadership, Awareness on human trafficking and alternative educative skills for staff

Three days training program from 28^th September to 30^th September 2015 was organized by ARUWYE at Marialya, Nandhampakkam for NCP and evening study center staffs at Chennai Mariyalaiya. Chennai Mariyalaiya gave space for three days program, more than 84 NCP members and 24 study center staff attended the training program.

Resource persons of the three days Training program were Sr. Arokia Mary Selvi, Director of Social Development Office ARUWYE, Sr. Thimena Celine, the Social Communication Coordinator,  Mr.Sudharson  and MS. Sangeetha from CE The School of Comprehensive Training and Social Research. Sr. Thimena Celine handled the sessions on Media and Human Trafficking, Mr. Sudharson and Miss. Sangeetha conducted the leadership training and sessions on awareness against Human Trafficking. Sr.Arokia MarySelvi conducted the training for the Evening study Center staff to handle the new book which will be given to children to build their fundamental academic skills in English and Maths. 

On 30^th September 2015 at 4.30 pm we had the conclusion with the book release ceremony, Mrs.Punith Prabu Solomon came as a special guest and inaugurated the ceremony by distributing the “Evening study center level one and two books” .  Children performed dance and sang songs. The Prime Minister and Finance Minister of the State Children’s Parliament explained about the success stories of the NCPs. Mrs. Punitha in her speech encouraged children to seek God and which will surely lead them towards greatness at all times. The programme concluded with sentiments of gratitude towards God the almighty and for the cooperation of all the participants and their animators. The children pledged to become agents of social transformation
