FESTAL TRIAD - CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION, HUMAN RIGHTS DAY AND CERTIFICATE PROGRAM

Aruwye's December festivities were a grand success, uniting the community in a spirit of joy and empowerment. The event was graced by our chief guest, Rev.Sr. Provincial DJ Margaret FMA, Guest of Honour Sister Christina Anto FMA, and Special Guest Dr. H. Charles, who added to the event's significance.

The celebration began with a welcoming song performed by the self-help women's group, setting a joyous tone for the occasion. This was followed by a heartfelt opening prayer by Women Coordinator Mrs. Kamala, bringing a sense of peace and reflection to the gathering.

Aruwye Director Sr. Isabella took the stage to honor and appreciate the guests for their valuable contributions to the community. The event was skillfully conducted by Mrs. Diana, the Master of Ceremonies, who kept the audience engaged and entertained throughout the program.

The highlight of the event was a powerful skit on human rights performed by Loyola and Stella Maris College MSW intern students, reminding everyone of the importance of justice and equality. The evening was further enriched by a dance performance by Kodambakkam Evening Study Centre children, adding a festive touch to the celebration.

Provincial Sr. DJ Margaret delivered a speech on Christmas and women empowerment, appreciating Aruwye's work. Sister Christina congratulated students who completed their courses, while Dr. H. Charles delivered an inspiring speech on human rights, emphasizing their significance in society.

The festive spirit was further elevated as Provincial Sr. DJ Margaret and Superior Sister Christina distributed sweets, spreading joy among the participants. The event was a true reflection of the community's unity and empowerment.

Mr. Subin, Program Coordinator, concluded the event with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to its success. December at Aruwye was truly a time of celebration, reflection, and empowerment, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended.
